The state of Telangana including its capital city, Hyderabad has been witnessing dry and warm weather for quite a long time now. While the month of October had started on a rainy note, now the rainfall activities have been diminishing marginally over the entire state. However, a few places over Telangana have still been recording a significant good amount of showers.
In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad failed to record any spells of rain while Nizamabad recorded rainfall to the tune of 12 mm.
The reason for such weather activities can be attributed to an upper air trough which is seen extending from Odisha up to coastal Karnataka across Telangana.

Due to the presence of this weather system, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected to lash isolated places of Telangana during the next two to three days. While isolated pockets of Hyderabad city may settle with light showers during the similar time frame.
Moreover, partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions are likely to persist over the entire state for next couple of days. Plus, day temperatures are expected to rise marginally and may reach about 35 degrees Celsius mark.
