The Cyclonic Circulation that formed in Bay is currently over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining WestCentral Bay of Bengal and is extending up to mid tropospheric levels. The system is expected to move inland across the Odisha Coast during the next 12 hours further moving west north-westwards during the next two to three days or so.
The system has already given some rainfall over the State of west Bengal as well as Odisha in the last 24 hours. Now, as the system moves inland, expect rainfall activity to continue over both Odisha as well as West Bengal in the coming 24 hours, with the intensity remaining on the heavier side in many parts.
As the system moves west northwestward, rains will also be seen over Chhattisgarh as well as eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, some parts may see heavy showers as well. In fact, many areas of Vidarbha may also see some spells of rains in view of the weather system.
There are chances that the system may become a feeble low pressure area, however, it may not be a very strong system. Nevertheless, there are chances of good spells of rains over many areas in Central India.
