A cyclonic circulation is over North Bangladesh and adjoining areas at 0.9 km above mean sea level

The east-west trough over Bihar is extending from Northwest Uttar Pradesh to Manipur across North Gangetic West Bengal, the cyclonic circulation over North Bangladesh, and Assam at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and thunderstorms associated with lightning and strong winds may occur over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura between April 16 and 19.

Arunachal Pradesh may receive isolated heavy rainfall on April 18 and 19, whereas Assam and Meghalaya may receive isolated heavy rain on April 17 and 18.

Scattered light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad between April 16 and 19.
