Bihar has been witnessing scattered light to moderate showers but heavy to very heavy spells continues to abate the state. As per Skymet Weather, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing across Muzzaffarpur, therefore, it is anticipated that moderate rain is likely over northern and central districts of Bihar.

Places including Patna, Bhagalpur, and Purinea may receive few good spells of rain, while scattered light rains will continue over remaining parts of the states.In the last 24 hours also, mainly light showers occurred over Bhagalpur, Chapra, and Forbesganj.
However, Patna recorded moderate rain to the tune of 17.6 mm and Purinea 13 mm.
The neighboring state of Jharkhand received splashing rains in the month of July, but at present, the intensity of rains has reduced. Presently, the axis of Monsoon trough is running across Bihar, therefore rains will remain mainly subdued over Jharkhand.

We do not expect any significant increase in rain activities over the state for the next few days. But light rains will continue and the sky will remain cloudy to partly cloudy and temperatures will increase marginally leading to warm weather conditions.
In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Tuesday, only Daltonganj received light rain of 4 mm.
