Hyderabad had so far remained almost dry as rains have remained far and few. The last state capital had recorded rains were on May 19, that too mere 0.2 mm. So, we can say rains have remained absent from the city during the entire month.
Due to the absence of rains, the maximum temperatures also scaled up settling above the 40-degree mark which is 2-3 degrees above the normal. As per Skymet Weather, these hot and uneasy weather conditions are likely to prevail inTelanganaincluding Hyderabad for at least another 3- 4 days.
No relief is anticipated inHyderabadwithin a short duration. Though rains are anticipated in another three to four days.

After witnessing just a single heavy spell in the month of May that recorded 61 mm of showers, finally, Hyderabad is bracing for some more rains.
