Delhi rains have wreaked havoc with not only some showers but heavy hailstorm activity as well. This rainy spell started yesterday which peaked up today to the extent that streets were full of hail. With hailstorm lashing Delhi, while some of the residents ended up calling it Kashmir, other were confused whilst looking out of their windows whether they had been teleported to Manali instead.
Snowfall like situation was seen on streets as social media was buzzing with pictures of residents out and about enjoying this wintry weather. Moreover, our weather experts were nice enough to give some rain insight while holding an Umbrella.
The good part is that due to these rains in Delhi and the NCR region, pollution levels are expected to go down to a great extent.
Let us take a look at what Twitterati had to say regarding Delhi rains today:
So we finally declare that all those who went to Mukteshwar or Kashmir to enjoy Snowfall have wasted their money. Delhi and NCR are having some fun. Look at these pictures from ....ahem ahem not Mussorie or Shimla but Noida. Chill !!#DelhiRains#Weather#Noida#ओलेpic.twitter.com/u8v4LlTWgM
