Eastern parts of the country, the east-west Trough is extending from Northeast Arabian Sea to Bihar across Southeast Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, we expect light to moderate rain with few heavy spells over Bihar and Southeast Uttar Pradesh. A Cyclonic Circulation is over North Bay of Bengal. Therefore, light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells may continue over West Bengal and parts of Jharkhand. Odisha may see scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Whereas, the rain intensity over Northeast India will further reduce and there will be light rain at many places with one or two moderate spells.
Talking about cities then Kolkata and Ranchi are likely to see moderate rain while Patna, Gaya, Prayagraj, Varanasi may receive moderate to heavy showers.
In the central parts of the country, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Northeast Arabian Sea off Maharashtra coast and a Trough is extending across Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
Hence, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells is expected over Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region, and Saurashtra. While scattered light to moderate rains will be a sight over East Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa along with South Chhattisgarh.

Also, light to moderate rain is a possibility over Mumbai. Jabalpur may see moderate to heavy rains while Nagpur, Bhopal and Ahmedabad may see moderate rainfall activities.
In the Southern parts of the country, an off-shore Trough is extending from North Konkan to Kerala. Moderate to heavy rains are possible over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. While light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is a possibility over North Interior Karnataka. Scattered light to moderate rains can be seen over South Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Whereas moderate rain may occur over northern districts of Telangana.
Moderate to heavy rains can also be seen over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Coming to cities wherein Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai may see light rains. Kochi, Kannur, and Karwar may receive heavy rains.
Finally, in the northern parts of our country, the ongoing humid easterly winds may give scattered light to moderate rains over Uttarakhand, parts of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The rain intensity will increase marginally over parts of Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Delhi may get isolated showers while weather over North and west Rajasthan will be nearly dry.
