Up in the North a feeble Western Disturbance as an upper air trough is moving across the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining parts of Ladakh. This system is likely to affect the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh in terms of light rain and snow. The southern parts of the region will remain dry with clear sky conditions.
In the plains of North India, the weather will remain dry due to dry north-westerlies. Sky conditions will be mainly clear. The day will be comfortable, while the night will be cool. Delhi pollution is settling in the ‘satisfactory’ to ‘poor’ category. Due to the slowing down of the winds, the pollution level will increase slightly.

Talking about East and Northeast India an upper air Cyclonic Circulation lies over the northern parts of Bangladesh and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Due to this system, light rain and thundery activities are expected at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. While dry weather will prevail in Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, and Nagaland. Dry weather conditions will prevail over East India in the absence of any significant weather system. The day will be pleasant and comfortable, while the night will be very cool and pleasant with mainly clear skies.
Coming to Central India due to the presence of dry north-westerlies, only dry weather will continue in entire Central India. A marginal rise in the day temperature is also expected. The day will be comfortable with mainly clear sky conditions while night will be cool and pleasant.Down South a feeble Cyclonic Circulation lies over the southeastern part of the Arabian Sea off South Kerala coast. Due to this system, isolated places in south Kerala may see light rain with thundershower activities. The rest of the southern peninsula will remain dry and warm. The afternoon will be very warm with clear skies. A marginal rise in the day temperature is also expected.
