The cyclonic circulation over Comorin area remains in the lower levels. Another trough of low could be seen extending from south-west and adjoining south-east Arabian Sea up to east-central Arabian Sea.
Reduces rainfall activity will continue over southern parts of Tamil Nadu, South Kerala and Lakshadweep region. Isolated rainfall activity is likely over central and coastal parts of Tamil Nadu and rest of Kerala. Adjoining coastal parts Karnataka will also receive some light rain.
We can see westerly winds blowing this region and easterly winds brought about by this anti-cyclone. The confluence of these two air masses may cause isolated rainfall activity over Chhattisgarh, North Andhra Pradesh coast and adjoining Odisha.
Light rain is expected over Northeast India, particularly Arunachal Pradesh and Upper Assam. This spell of rain could be attributed to the cyclonic circulation prevailing over the region.
The trough lying in the higher reaches will bring some light snowfall in the northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Moderate to dense fog could be witnessed at many places over the Northwestern plains on Sunday morning. Dense fog is expected over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Very dense fog likely in few pockets.
Cold wave conditions are expected in pockets of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
No significant drop in temperatures is likely over the Northwest plains. But, Madhya Maharashtra could to see a marginal drop in minimums.

Night temperatures in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan will remain below 5 degrees.
