The other states sharing a border with Odisha, like West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and peripheral parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, will also have moderate to heavy showers during this period. As the system moves to South Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh in the next about 72 hours, heavy to very heavy rains are likely over Madhya Pradesh between 12-14 September 2026. In the last leg of the system, scattered rains will lash East Rajasthan, South and Central Gujarat, and North Madhya Maharashtra. The North Konkan region, including Mumbai, is likely to have moderate monsoon showers during this period.
