Intensity of rains which was witnessed over central parts of the country including parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and adjoining parts of Telangana have substantially reduced now. The only pockets that have seen rains in the past 24 hours have been West Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Now, rains will remain reduced over parts, and the only pockets which will see some good rains will be West Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan. This is in view of a Cyclonic Circulation and also the Monsoon trough still holding south to the normal position. Though, it is in the process of shifting northward.
This rain activity over West Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan will be heavy in isolated pockets. Indore, Ujjain, Khandwa, Dhar, Khargone, Ratlam etc. are the ones which will see rains along with parts of South Rajasthan in the next 24 hours. Tomorrow itself there may be some change wherein activity will start shifting to the northern parts.
