Kerala along with other parts of Karnataka have been witnessing some good rains for the past few days. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 AM on Monday, Bengaluru recorded 40 mm, Gadag 132 mm, Chitradurga saw 36 mm of rains. These rainfall activities have been shifting pockets and along with the coastal parts the interior regions have also seen some good rains during this period.
Now, coastal Karnataka is likely to see some more good rainfall activities in association with the cyclonic circulation which is over Comorin region and extending from this system up to North Interior Karnataka. The circulation is shifting closer to the cost and the trough persists over that region.
Today, more of Kerala and parts of Karnataka will see rains. Tomorrow, more of Coastal Karnataka will see rains. Thereafter, the rain belt will shift further upward towards Goa and some regions of Konkan.
