Rain is likely to decrease over east Madhya Pradesh and increase in the western parts of the state. The low pressure area over west Madhya Pradesh is now moving eastwards. A western air disturbance in the form of an upper air system over north Pakistan is likely to move towards northeast.
Meanwhile, there is not going to be much change in the weather of the national capital. The city will observe moderate easterly winds with mainly cloudy skies today. There is a possibility of very light rain towards the evening.
Weather in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Rajasthan is also going to remain dry except for one or two spell in some parts of the region. On the other hand, moderate to heavy spells are likely over west coast, east Gujarat, southeast Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh, sub-himalayan West Bengal and Uttarakhand may also receive moderate rain. Light rain is predicted over southern peninsula except in Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.
Rain over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and Chhattisgarh has reduced and is expected to remain the same for some days to come.
Meanwhile, rain in west Rajasthan will force temperatures to scale down a little. It is expected to remain marginally high over south peninsula except the west coast. East Gujarat and East Rajasthan will also experience marginal drop in temperature.
Day temperatures of Delhi, Haryana and Punjab may drop marginally due to easterly winds and cloudy skies.
