West Coast of India continues to receive good Monsoon Rains

Fairly widespread Monsoon rains are continuing over most parts of the West Coast including Kerala, Karnataka, and southern parts of Konkan & Goa.

Intensity of rain is much more over Karnataka and Konkan and Goa.  We expect that good rains will continue till June 16 over West Coast of India. After June 16, there may be a slight lull in the rain intensity on June 17.

But to keep the intensity of rain at par a low pressure is expected to develop over Andhra Pradesh coast by June 18. So it can be expected that rain intensity will once again pick up pace by June 18.

Around that time most parts of the West Coast of India which includes the entire Konkan & Goa region, southern parts of Gujarat will also start receiving good rain activity.

So around June 20 we can expect that the monsoon will cover entire West Coast including south Gujarat.
