The state of Gujarat is all set to see the comeback of heat wave Gujarat. Temperatures are already settling around 42 and 43 degrees Celsius. Cities of Ahmedabad as well as the capital city Gandhinagar along with Surendranagar have already been seeing maximums around 42-43 degrees.
Thus, maximums have particularly risen over parts of North Gujarat and Kutch as compared to South Gujarat and the coastal parts. These maximums will witness a further rise between April 25 and 29. Another wave of heat wave is expected around this time.
Reason being that across the border as well, many parts in Pakistan are witnessing a steep rise, including cities of Jacobabad, Nawabshah etc. Winds from that region are springing in hot air, resulting in increased maximums, which will be seen through the week.
