Intense Pre-Monsoon activities continued over the Southern parts of Tamil Nadu and many parts of Kerala. Heavy to very heavy rains lashed Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The weather of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh remained dry.
Coastal Karnataka and parts of Madhya Maharashtra also received one or two intense spells of rain and thundershower. Isolated Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh received light rain whereas rain activities were moderate over Northern and Eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Gujarat and South Rajasthan, as well as Western districts of Madhya Pradesh, continued with dry and hot weather conditions.
Eastern parts of the country, particularly East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Gangetic West Bengal witnessed dry weather conditions.
Light rains occurred over North East India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.
Western Himalaya received scattered rains. Intense rain and thundershower associated with dust storm occurred over many parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. Isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh also received thundershower activities.
Weather Forecast:
Good rains are expected to continue over parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The weather of East India will remain almost a dry flower Northeast India will get like to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places.
Patchy rains are possible over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Madhya Maharashtra.
In North India, thundershower and dust storm will continue over Punjab, Haryana part of Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and North Rajasthan.
