The weather system over the country:

A Cyclonic Circulation is over the Comorin area.

Another Cyclonic Circulation is over the south-east Arabian Sea off the Kerala coast.

A Cyclonic Circulation over Pakistan and the neighbourhood is at 1.5 km above the mean sea level.

A Cyclonic Circulation is over South Bangladesh.

An upper Cyclonic Circulation is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea by the evening of November 21st. It is likely to move in the West-Northwest direction and become a low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 23rd. Thereafter, it may move in the West-Northwest direction and intensify into a depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal.

Weather Activity in the last 24 hours:

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over South Tamil Nadu.

Light to moderate rain occurred over interior Tamil Nadu, South Kerala, Southern parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Nagaland and Manipur.

Isolated light rain occurred over Lakshadweep and Sikkim.

Minimum temperatures dropped by one to two degrees over Gujarat, North Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Dense fog was observed over parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and North Madhya Pradesh.

Weather Activity in the next 24 hours:

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over South Tamil Nadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rain is possible over Lakshadweep, Kerala, Manipur and Mizoram.

Light rain may occur over Sikkim, South Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Gilgit Baltistan.

Dense fog is possible over East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Punjab and Haryana.

The air quality index of Delhi NCR will remain in a 'very poor' to 'severe' category.
