These weather conditions could be attributed to the prevalence of easterly winds that are relatively warm and moist in nature.

As per Skymet Weather, not much change is anticipated in the weather conditions over all the sub-divisions of the state, but both the maximum and minimum temperatures will uphold its rising trend.

For Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra, both the day and night temperatures would remain on a higher facet. In Vidarbha region, the temperatures may increase by one or two degrees. Lastly in the sub-division of Marathwada, the temperatures may rise and settle near the normal level.

So in a nutshell, clear weather, with bright sunshine is expected to linger in Maharashtra.

At this juncture, let us take a brief look of the effect of weather on the agriculture:

Farmers are recommended to take suitable actions to avoid pest infestation and provide irrigation to the summer crop as per need. Moreover, complete the harvesting of crops like Jowar, Bengal Gram and Wheat and store or move the harvested crop produce to a risk free place to avoid losses.
