Weather to play see saw over Madhya Pradesh

The eastern and northern parts of Madhya Pradesh have been observing low minimums for the past 24 to 48 hours. Along with this, day temperatures have also been settling below the 30 degree mark. Meanwhile, Southwest and South Madhya Pradesh are observing warm weather conditions as maximums are settling above 30 degrees. However, nights here also are cool with minimums ranging between 11 and 13 degrees Celsius.

Now, the cyclonic circulation over Northern Plains is becoming insignificant. Therefore, cold northeasterly and northwesterly winds will start blowing over the region. Thus, temperatures are expected to fall over many parts of the state for the next two to three days.

However, around January 22 and 23, an induced cyclonic circulation will form over Rajasthan and Northwest Madhya Pradesh in view of a Western Disturbance over the western Himalayan region.

Thus, reversal of winds will take place which is why warm and humid winds from southwest and southeast will once again increase the minimums over the entire state. However, this increase in temperature will only be for a short duration.

By January 24, this induced cyclonic circulation will also fade away and cold northerly winds will once again drop the temperatures resulting in wintry weather conditions. Thus, during the next few days, the weather will keep playing see saw over Madhya Pradesh.
