The western disturbance over the hills of north India has been a slightly active one as compared to the previous ones which only affected the hills of North India. This particular system has resulted in some light rainfall over a few areas of Punjab, particularly the foothills as well as very few parts of Haryana yesterday.
Today, cities like Pathankot, Gurdaspur and even up to Chandigarh have seen some light rainfall activity due to the induced feeble system that had developed over parts of Punjab and a trough extending along the foothills.
Now, by tomorrow weather conditions are expected to improve and rainfall activity will take a back seat over the state of Punjab and Haryana. By next week, temperatures are expected to increase to quite an extent giving a feel of the end of winters for the northern parts of the country.
