Central India is blessed with one after another weather system that has been pounding the area with good and substantial Monsoon rains. And the rainfall is likely to continue for the next 3-4 days due to multiple weather systems pounding rains over the region.
As of now the axis of Monsoon trough has moved further southwards is presently seen running across Firozpur, Hisar, Gwalior, Pendra, Bhubaneswar and then moves Southeastwards East-central Bay of Bengal.
The cyclonic circulation over West Madhya Pradesh is now seen close to Northwest Madhya Pradesh. This system should further move towards North.
The combined system will result in good rain over East Rajasthan. Due to the slow movement of the system the rain belt will remain close to East Rajasthan giving good rains during the next 48-72 hours.
At present, the Eastern parts of Rajasthan are rainfall surplus by 29%. And the rainfall due over the region will further enhance the figure. Even this rain is likely to spread further towards Western parts of the state.
West Rajasthan is rainfall deficit by 29% and with the rains about to happen over the region is expected to bring it closer to normal. Weather observatory in Ajmer recorded a whopping 81 mm of rainfall. Chances of moderate to heavy rainfall are there for the next 3-4 days.
