Bangalore continued to observe warm weather conditions during the last 24 hours. Although day maximums had taken a dip but they are still settling marginally above normal. Meanwhile, night temperatures settled around normal.
On Tuesday, Observatory at Bangalore city recorded day maximum of 33°C, while Airport Observatory recorded maximum temperature of 32°C. Each of the temperature were above normal by a degree.
Further, similar weather conditions will continue for the next 24 hours as well. Thereafter, we can expect partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions over the city, followed by rains soon.
All thanks to the development of a cyclonic circulation over Rayalaseema and adjoining North Interior Karnataka. With this, scattered rains will commence over the state capital by March 4.
This will usher in much needed relief from the warm weather conditions over Bangalore. The rainy spell is likely to continue for good 3-4 days, which will eventually lead to drop in mercury and pave way for pleasant weather conditions.
However, rains may play a spoil sport in the upcoming second cricket test match between India and Australia scheduled to begin from March 4.
Experts are of the view that if this happens, the wet pitch conditions would put the match in the favour of Australians.
