After a prolonged dry spell, southern districts of Madhya Pradesh finally experienced scattered light to moderate rains during the last 24 hours. According to Skymet Weather, these rains could be attributed to a convergence zone formed over the state, with amalgamation of dry north easterly winds with humid south easterly winds.
Talking about the temperatures, maximum temperatures have decreased by 2°C-3°C over many parts of the state, making the days cool and comfortable. As per weathermen, dry and cool northwesterly winds have been blowing over northern and central districts of Madhya Pradesh since last 2-3 days, responsible for bringing a drop-in day and night temperatures across the state.
Now, this confluence zone has moved away and dry winds are expected to continue over the entire state for the next few days. Moreover, an Anti- Cyclone has formed over Southwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas which would keep the weather dry over the state.
In the coming days, no major change in the weather is expected. Days will remain comfortable while nights will be cool with a nip in the air.
