After remaining dry for quite some time now, a fresh spell of Pre Monsoon weather activity is all set to make an appearance over Rajasthan.
A fresh Western Disturbance is now over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Northwest Rajasthan.
Moreover, humid winds from Arabian Sea are also feeding moisture over Northern Plains up to 15000 feet. These weather features will result in dust storm and thunderstorm to commence during the late afternoon or evening hours of tomorrow.
In fact, series of Western Disturbances will be responsible for these weather activities, which will also induce enough Circulations.
These activities will continue until May 16 and 17. Intensity will increase gradually, and the second half will see more rains as compared to the first. Initially, northwestern parts of Rajasthan will be the ones seeing rains. However, soon enough, south west and eastern regions will also see rain, dust storm, thunderstorm as well as lightning activities.
Temperatures which are in mid 40s to lower 40s may come down in the 30 degree bracket. Therefore, heat wave conditions which are persisting will subside leading to comfortable weather. Relief is in sight as these activities will be a prolonged one continuing throughout next week as well.
Weather activities will first begin as dust storm and thunderstorms thereafter, rainfall and other Pre Monsoon features also making their appearances. By May 18, weather will start to clear up.
