The state of Rajasthan has been seeing on and off dust storm activities with isolated rainfall for the past two to three days. These activities have particularly seen in the western, northern and northeastern areas of Rajasthan. On the other hand, South Rajasthan continued to see almost dry weather conditions with high temperatures, above 40-degrees, resulting in heat wave like conditions.
Now, the Cyclonic Circulation which was persisting has weakened due to which no significant weather activity will be observed on April 13 and 14. However, isolated thunderstorm activity cannot be ruled out as temperatures are high and moisture is still present in the atmosphere.
By April 15, a fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach the Western Himalayas which will induce a Cyclonic Circulation over western parts of Rajasthan. Thus, weather activities may begin on April 15.
On April 15 and 16, a significant increase in rain, thundershowers and dust storm activities are expected to be seen over many parts of Rajasthan, due to the system being quite active.
Churu, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Alwar will see weather activities including Dust storm, thunderstorm and rains on April 17, and other parts will see reduced rain activities.
