No relief from sweltering weather in Mumbai for some more time

The city of Mumbai has remained dry for the longest time and rightly so as after the month of December, Mumbai rains take a complete break and no showers are seen.

Currently, weather in Mumbai has been dry for quite a while now and humidity levels have been on the higher side. Afternoons out in the sun are unbearable as the winds that blow during the day are hot and humid.

However, evenings bring a sigh of relief as weather gets pleasant due to cool breeze blowing over the city of Mumbai.

As far as rains are concerned, winds are northerly in nature right now, and for it to rain, there needs to be a change in terms of the wind direction.

Adjoining areas of Maharashtra may see some rains during the weekend. On the other hand, Mumbai may see some partly cloudy sky to start with, and a very bleak chance of light patchy rains in isolated areas. Even if it does rain, it will be for a very short duration.

For good Pre Monsoon rains, Mumbaikars will have to wait for some more time as nothing significant is in sight before the first week of June which will mark the beginning of Pre Monsoon rains for the city.
