Weather in Delhi
Weather will be pleasant over Delhi-NCR on the occasion of Diwali. Day will be comfortably warm, while evening will be extremely pleasant. Mercury will be settling in below 20s during the night hours setting in apt weather conditions for the celebrations. However, Delhiites could see mist, haze and smoke engulfing the city due to dipping temperatures and light winds blowing across the country.
Weather in Mumbai
Mumbai will witness warm and uncomfortable day with bright sunshine. However, night will comfortable as light sea breeze will settle in. Night temperatures will also settle in lowers 20s. No rain is expected on Diwali.
Weather in Chennai
Rain may play spoilsport during the Diwali celebrations as Chennai will have cloudy weather with chances of light to moderate and thundershowers. In wake of this, day will be warm and humid, however evening is likely to be pleasant.
Weather in Kolkata
Kolkata is also likely to witness similar weather conditions. Cloudy weather will keep the day warm and humid but night will be pleasant. However, chances of light to moderate rain and thundershowers may hamper the Diwali celebrations.
