The state of Madhya Pradesh has been seeing dry weather conditions for quite some time now. However, now, a rainy spell is all set to approach the state.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas which will induce a Cyclonic Circulation over the Northern Plains. Along with this, a Trough will extend up to North Madhya Pradesh.
Therefore, we expect scattered rain and thundershower activities with isolated dust storm over western and northern parts of Madhya Pradesh on April 10. Gradually, other parts of the state, i.e. South and Central Madhya Pradesh will also see some rains on April 11.
By April 12, weather activities over western parts will reduce, however, rain belt may shift towards eastern regions due to which rains are likely over East Madhya Pradesh during that time. Thus, in a nutshell, between April 10 and 12, rains are likely over some areas of Madhya Pradesh.
While these rainfall activities are not expected to be widespread in nature, they will occur in patches and will be seen during the late afternoon hours as these are Pre Monsoon showers. Temperatures in Madhya Pradesh are settling above 40 degrees, humidity induction will take place due to the trough which will trigger the development of thunderclouds. These are capable of giving dust storm, thundershowers and rains.
Moreover, north and northwestern parts of Madhya Pradesh will see more dust storm, while the other areas will see rains.
