The city of Jaipur has not had a very good month in terms of rains during the month of April as well as May. There have been some occasions of dust storm and thunderstorm activities, but they have not been as much as seen in other parts of Northwest India.
During the last 24 hours, there has been very light rainfall over the city of Jaipur to the tune of a mere 0.2 mm. However, rainfall activity over the Northwest Plains has resulted in a dip in temperatures over Jaipur as well.

Maximum temperatures have been settling below the 40-degree mark for the past few days, all thanks to the frequent Western Disturbances and its induced Cyclonic Circulations which have been providing some rainfall activities over the North Indian region. Winds are also southwesterly which are humid in nature and some cloud cover has been arresting the day temperatures.
Today, isolated rain in Jaipur may be seen with the other Pre-Monsoon features.
Thereafter, weather activities will take a backseat and temperatures will remain under check for some time. Around May 20 and 21, another spell of rain is likely due to presence of a Western Disturbance and its induced Cyclonic Circulation.
Moreover, after those rains, temperatures in Jaipur will see an increase which will further result in the comeback of heat wave conditions.
