Thereafter, the temperatures of Delhi on increased so much so that both Palam and Safdarjung observatories recorded the highest maximum of the season on April 17. As a result, the weather has become very hot. However, moderate winds from the northwest are blowing across Delhi and NCR, therefore, feel like temperatures are not high.

As per Skymet Weather, we expect the weather to remain dry for the next 24 hours. Thereafter, isolated thunderstorm, dust storm or thundershower activity might make an appearance over Delhi and adjoining cities of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad on April 20.

During that time, the temperatures may fall marginally for a short duration. However, long-term relief from the scorching heat is not anticipated any time soon. As of now, the temperatures are already above normal by 2°c to 3°C and are likely to settle in the same range touching 40°C.
