The state of Chhattisgarh has been witnessing good rainfall activity for the past few days. In fact, widespread rainfall was seen with high speed winds as well, all in view of Cyclone Phethai which did give very good rains over these areas.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Bilaspur saw 59 mm of rains, Mana recorded 50 mm of rainfall, Durg 38 mm, Ambikapur 30 mm, and Jagdalpur 11 mm.
Due to these rains, day temperatures had dropped significantly over the state of Chhattisgarh while minimums had seen a marginal drop.
Now, as the system has moved away, rainfall is expected to see a reduction and weather will become dry.
In fact, night temperatures will remain the same but the maximum temperatures may see some increase during this time. Not only this, some parts may see foggy conditions may continue over the state during the morning hours.
