Cyclone Fani had wreaked havoc over many parts, throttling the state of Odisha with very heavy rains and strong winds. In fact, several trains of the South Western Railways also had to be cancelled. However, the city of Bengaluru remained dry even during the time Fani crossed the east coast.
Moreover, during the last 24 hours also, dry weather persisted over the state of Karnataka. At present, an upper air trough is extending from Telangana to South Interior Karnataka. In fact, another Trough is also seen extending from Comorin to South Interior Karnataka.
Warm and moist winds from the Bay of Bengal are also reaching these areas. Due to these weather systems and features, parts of South Interior Karnataka will be seeing some rainfall activities. In fact, the city of Bengaluru will be seeing rainfall. Rains will remain on the lighter side for the state capital
Meanwhile, North Interior Karnataka will continue to see dry weather conditions. Weather will remain hot as well over this region. Talking about South Interior Karnataka, temperatures will continue to remain the same and no change is expected as these rains will be scattered as well as not very intense in nature.
