The city of Ahmedabad has been undergoing hot weather conditions with temperatures settling way above the 40-degree mark for quite some time now. Moreover, these temperatures have refused to take a backseat from the region. In fact, many parts of the country are observing heat wave conditions.
Yesterday also, the city of Ahmedabad saw a whopping 43.8 degrees Celsius which was at least two degrees above the normal levels. Today also, Ahmedabad is all set to touch the 44 degrees Celsius mark in view of these prevailing weather conditions.
In fact, an orange alert has been issued for the city by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for today.
The next few days are going to see very hot weather in the city of Ahmedabad resulting in temperatures being way above the normal levels.
Other parts of Gujarat are also reeling under similar weather conditions with heat wave gripping isolated pockets of the interior regions of Gujarat.
As far as rains are concerned, Gujarat does not see much of Pre Monsoon activity and the pleasant weather effect is only felt when some activity is going on in the northern regions.
However, at present, the Northern Plains including Delhi are also observing heat wave conditions in the absence of any weather system prevailing over the region.
