Weather Systems across the Country

The Western Disturbance is now over east Jammu and Kashmir and is moving away.

The induced Cyclonic Circulation is over North Punjab and a trough is seen extending from this up till East Bihar.

Along with this, a north-south trough is extending from East Bihar up till Andhra Pradesh.

Weather Activity in last 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, fairly widespread rain and snow were seen over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Scattered rain and thundershower activities have been observed over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Scattered light rain activities were seen over Bihar.

The minimums have dropped by two to four degrees over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat.

Weather Forecast for tomorrow

Scattered light rain and snow will be seen over Jammu and Kashmir. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is a possibility over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Scattered rain and thundershower activities would continue over the foothills of Punjab, Haryana, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, parts of Sub- Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Isolated rains are a possibility over Odisha.

Scattered light to moderate rain and thundershower activities will be seen over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Meghalaya.

Day temperatures might increase marginally over Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.

      Monsoon has arrived in Delhi. While there are chances of on and off light rain, thundershowers throughout this week, heavy rain is possible in Delhi from the second half of July.
