Weather Forecast for various parts of India on Diwali

Diwali is right around the corner and while the northern parts of the country will see some chill in the air, the southern parts may see some showers lashing some areas, acting as a dampener in the Diwali fervour.

Talking about the northern parts, Delhi and the NCR region are expected to see some chilly weather during the night with no rains in sight. While temperatures may see some rise in the next couple of days but minimums on Diwali may see a slight drop with temperatures even going down up to 13 degrees Celsius.

Mumbai after the departure of Southwest Monsoon does not see rains, which is the case likely to be seen on Diwali. Maximums may settle close to normal, while minimum temperatures may see a slight increase hovering around 25 degrees Celsius or so, a couple of degrees more than the normal levels.

For the city of Kolkata, rains will remain out of sight and maximum temperatures will hover closer to the normal levels, with minimums possibly settling a couple of notches below the normal levels.

Chennai on the other hand is expected to see some rains with a few heavy spells lashing the city as well on the day of Diwali. Minimum temperatures on account of these rains, may drop down by a notch or so over the capital city of Tamil Nadu.

Bengaluru will also see similar conditions like Chennai with rains being observed on Diwali. Moreover, temperatures are expected to settle close to the normal levels. Hyderabad is also expected to see some rain and thundershowers with temperatures hovering around the normal levels on Diwali. Rainfall activity may be seen in parts of Kerala as well including the cities of Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram etc., which may dampen the festive spirit a little bit. Tourists in Goa may also see some rains during Diwali.
