Weather forecast for the week in India 10th-16th June

North and northwest India
North and northwest India will have plenty of weather activities this week. The week starts with above average day temperatures but heat will reduce from Tuesday onwards as a period lashed with thunder developments and rain will cool these regions down. So a fall of 5 degrees in temperatures could be witnessed in both these regions till Sunday. Rain could be heavy at times.

East and northeast India
East India is expected to be covered with monsoon rains during the first two days of the week. Rain will pick up in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim after this period for rest of the week. Some places in the region could also receive heavy to very heavy rainfall. Temperatures will fall in the region and warm and humid weather will prevail during the week.

Central India and West coast
Southern parts of Central India are witnessing monsoon rain but as the week progresses, the entire region would come under the ambit of monsoon rain. Rain will continue over Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh east Rajasthan, Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra during the week. Warm and humid days are in store. Temperatures will fall by at least 3 to 5 degrees. Rain will continue along the West coast over Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat coast during the week.

South India
Rainfall activities will continue along the Kerala and Karnataka coast. Rain will decrease in interiors of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Rest of the places will have monsoon rains at one or two places throughout the week. Rain reduction will lead to rise in temperatures.
