In the past couple of days or so, the country on the whole has not seen very little rains, making it the least weather activity days or so.
In the last 24 hours, only a couple of places in South which includes Kerala has seen rains. Tamil Nadu has not seen showers however, on the other hand, Bay Islands have seen rains due to the presence of a Low Pressure Area.
Talking about the mainland, there has been very light activity in terms of rains. The northern parts may see activities in the higher reaches of hills but nothing for the plains. Along with this, even Northeast, East and Central India have not seen any rains per se nor is there any likely in the coming days.
Around 20th, there may be some weather activity over southern parts as the low pressure area will intensify and come closer to the coast. Until then, weather activity will remain to the minimal over most parts of the country.
