Let us have a look at the weather across the major cities of the country for the next few days:

Delhi

Rains have finally appeared over Delhi NCR, as the city recorded scattered thundershowers activities during the past 24 hours. This can be attributed to the induced cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan and a trough running from this system across Delhi. We can expect partly cloudy to cloudy sky for the next 24 hours, with chances of isolated dust storm and thunderstorm. However, by Thursday, the weather will become dry and sunny again. Day temperatures will fall by 2°C-3°C on Wednesday, but the temperatures will remain above normal. We expect temperatures to start rising from March 26.

Mumbai

At present, both day and night temperatures of  Mumbai are settling near normal and the weather is dry. This is one of the driest month for Mumbai. In fact, due to the absence of any significant weather system, we expect weather to remain dry for the coming days as well. Temperatures would remain near normal for the next 2-3 days. Significant rise in temperatures would be seen around March 24 and March 25. Days will then become very warm as day temperatures will reach higher 30's.

Chennai

Chennai is too battling warm and humid weather. However, both day and night temperatures are settling near normal. At present, the discomfort level is not very high as temperatures are still in the lower 30's. During the coming week, we do not expect any significant change in both day and night temperature. Sky will remain mainly clear for next 2-3 days, thereafter, few patches of clouds may appear, but rains are not in offing.

Kolkata

Kolkata is presently experiencing warm and humid weather conditions. Isolated rain and thunderstorm activities over the city are expected around March 23 and March 24. These activities will bring marginal relief from the ongoing sultry weather conditions, but soon after that, the weather will once again become warm and uneasy.

Ahmedabad

Day and night temp of Ahmedabad are below normal. Nights and mornings are very comfortable as minimum temperatures are below normal by 3°C. During the coming days we expect day temperatures to increase marginally but no change in the night temperatures. Despite the warm and sunny day weather, nights will remain comfortable.

Bengaluru

Temperatures of Bengaluru are also near normal average. Though day is warm but not uneasy. Night temperatures are settling around 21°C - 21°C, therefore, night will too remain comfortable. Now the weather system over Chennai has vanished, thus, we do not expect any weather activity in the coming days and temperature variation will also be minimal.
