The queen of hills, Shimla wore the brunt of abrupt weather condition when a portion of road at the Tutikandi-Dhali bypass crossing went down crashing. The incident occurred at around 3 PM on Thursday though no fatalities were reported but the event led to traffic congestion thereby disturbing the trespassers.
Incessant rains have played havoc in the northern hills of the country and Shimla’s bypass road, just adjacent to an under construction shopping complex shuddered down. Though it is yet to be figured out whether the incident happened on account of torrential rains or due to the excavation work that was undergoing.
