WATCH: 40 inches of blizzard snow in 40 seconds

January 28, 2016 1:57 PM |

West Virginia resident, Wayne Bennett, has shared a 40-second video that captures the magnitude of super-storm Jonas. The absolutely stunning blizzard 2016 video was shared by Wayne on Facebook and has gone viral.

The video shows a skeleton placed in the middle of the frame. Slowly, snow starts to cover the frame, and soon the blanket of snow begins to thicken. By the time the video ends, the skeleton is completely covered in snow.

Storm Jonas made headlines due to several reasons. It will be remembered as a ruthless snow-spewing record-breaking storm that literally buried parts of the United States. Roads, streets, structures, and actually everything under the sun was covered in heaps of snow.

Wayne's video allows us to get a closer look at the storm which killed dozens. Images and eye-witness accounts do give a good outline, however, this time-lapse video is the real deal.
