Warmer days ahead for Delhi-NCR, temperatures to soar soon

Delhi weather has been well behaved during the entire month of March. Temperatures have remained below the normal levels. Not only this, the city has received ample amount of rains this month, in fact, more than it usually does in March.

However, all this is about to change and weather conditions are expected to remain warmer than expected. In fact, temperatures may cross the 35-degree mark during the rest of March. Delhiites could bid the whole pleasant weather scenario adieu for the next few months at least.

During the first fifteen days of the month of March, both the maximum and minimum temperatures kept the weather pleasant in Delhi. While the average maximum settled at around 27.5 degrees as compared to the normal of 29.5 degree Celsius, minimums were also at least two to three degrees less than they usually are.

In March, Palam observatory received around 13.2 mm of rain usually, however, this month 22.7 mm of rainfall was observed in the first 18 days itself. As far as the Safdarjung observatory is concerned, against 15.9 mm of rain, 10.4 mm has already been recorded. Due to these rains, weather remained pleasant.

Now, during the rest of March, the weather conditions will be on the warmer side. In fact, the possibility of a few hot days where mercury reaches around 38 degrees also cannot be ruled out. Thus, it is time to finally say hello to that summer wardrobe of yours.
