Weather in Bangalore is all set to take a U-turn this February. The state capital is famous for its pleasant weather conditions throughout the year.

In absence of any rain and thundershowers, weather over Bangalore has become warm and uncomfortable. Day maximums are settling above 30°C against the normal average temperature of 29°C.

On Tuesday, city recorded maximum temperature at 32°C, which was three degrees above normal.

According to Skymet Weather, this is the lean period in terms of rains. During February and March, Bangalore witnesses mainly dry weather conditions. Hence, with the clear sky and bright sunshine, mercury tends to rise.

This is what the city of garden is witnessing at present. Now, with the persistent dry weather, we expect day temperatures to further increase by the weekend. Sky will remain absolutely clear and we do not foresee any weather activity in offing.

Moreover, wind pattern is also likely to change soon. We can expect relatively warmer and moist easterly or south-easterly winds to blow over the region.

With this, minimum temperatures are also expected to increase and settle above normal, leading to warmer nights. Night temperatures are already settling near normal. On Wednesday, city recorded minimum temperature of 16°C.
