After remaining pleasant last week, weather of Bangalore has taken a twist. At present, both the maximum and minimum temperatures are settling above the average mean by a degree or two.
This warm weather conditions can be attributed to the absence of any significant weather system in or around the garden city. In wake of this, warm inland winds have been blowing across the city. Moreover, clear sky conditions have further pave way for the rise in maximum temperatures.
According to Skymet Weather, usually during February and March, Bangalore tends to witness warm weather. Day temperatures also settled around 30C or above during this time.
Further, till weekend, we expect similar weather conditions to prevail over the city and maximum temperatures will settle near or above normal.
Thereafter, wind pattern is likely to change, which would in turn drop the mercury by few notches.
The city also does not record any substantial amount of rain during February. The normal average rainfall for the month stands at mere 5.4 mm and so far, the city has remained practically dry. Moreover, we do not expect any rains in the leftover days of the month.
Bangalore is famous for pleasant weather conditions round the year. However, during the last couple of years, it is seen that temperatures have been settling on the higher side. This has put the ‘pleasant city’ title in danger.
