Unlike rain and thundershowers accompanied by hailstorm and strong winds over eastern portion of Maharashtra like Vidarbha and Marathwada, the weather continued to be mainly dry over Konkan as well as Madhya Maharashtra. Places like Thane, Ratnagiri, Satara, Nashik, Pune and Sangli have been witnessing dry weather. However, the sky conditions remained partly cloudy to cloudy that led to descent in maximum temperatures.

During the last 24 hours, most parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan has registered rise in maximum temperatures. This could be attributed to clear sky and bright sunshine. This increase in maximums will not be significant, so days are not expected to be very warm, leading to unease among the residents.

According to Skymet Weather, minimum temperatures will drop over northern portion of Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra, ensuring cool and comfortable nights. This would be attributed to the flow of cool northeasterly winds.

Farmers of Madhya Maharashtra are advised to continue harvesting of matured Rabi crops like wheat, Jowar and Bengal gram. Farmers in Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra are recommended to complete the sowing of summer crops and as per requirement irrigate the crops like Groundnut and Paddy.
