Monsoon rains have been playing hide and seek with the capital country of India. So much so that there were rare occasions when Delhi and its adjoining areas recorded some good showers. It was on August 23 that Delhi and its connecting areas of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram witnessed some good spells.
Thereafter, mainly dry weather with isolated rains was observed over the region. So we can say that Delhiites are still on the wait to see that good Monsoon showers.

The weather remained warm and humid over the region, with day maximums around 32-34 degrees, whereas minimum temperatures near 25-26 degrees.
According to Skymet Weather, these rains can be attributed to the axis of Monsoon trough being in proximity of Delhi. The trough is currently running from Sri Ganganagar to east central Bay of Bengal across Central Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha.
Weathermen expect warm and humid weather with partly cloudy sky over the national capital region. Short spell of light rain is possible as the axis will be shifting further South of Delhi.
In fact, some areas of Delhi-NCR including Faridabad have already witnessed rains. More areas including Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, and many parts of Delhi will witness ranins
