Delhi is once again gripped under warm and dry days that has been giving a feel like of second summers in September to the Delhiites. During the last 48 hours, Delhi and its adjoining regions have failed to record good rains.
Though isolated patchy rains have occurred in parts of the national capital that have not brought any relief to Delhiites from the ongoing warm afternoons. In fact, the day time highs that were under the 35-degree mark have now peaked up to settle beyond 35 degrees.

Skymet Weather reiterates that Delhi is currently under the influence of the dry northwesterly winds. Due to this, the weather of Delhi and adjoining Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad is likely to remain warm and dry. Though isolated showers are likely to occur in the region these will be mainly due to the localized cloud development and thus will be patchy in nature.
These isolated light spells are most likely to make an appearance during the late afternoon or evening hours and will be confined to shorter areas. Thus, these won’t do many wonders in the temperature profile that may reach between 36-37 degrees. However, morning and nights are expected to remain comfortable.
