Rains were poor initially during the Monsoon season. However, the entire southern region has been seeing an increase in rains for the past two days including Karnataka, Kerala as well as Andhra Pradesh.

Moreover, due to this, Andhra Pradesh saw 81 percent excess rains, Coastal Karnataka recorded 368 percent, Kerala 344 percent.

However, the state of Telangana still needs a Monsoon burst. There has only been one day when the region saw excessive rains which helped the deficiency of 53 percent go down to 35 percent. Other than that, there has not been enough rains for the region.

During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Adilabad saw 35 mm, Bhadrachalam 7 mm, Nizamabad 43 mm, Mehboobnagar 0.6 mm.

The northern half can see scattered rains including the capital city of Hyderabad. Rains will be confined to areas bordering Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Southern regions bordering Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will remain silent.

However, these rains will not be enough and there is no significant sign of recovery as such. Next one week will remain similar and the deficiency may remain
