During the last 24 hours, Vidarbha and Telangana have received rain and thundershower activities. These rains can be attributed to the Confluence Zone as well as North-South Trough which was extending from East Madhya Pradesh to Telangana across Vidarbha.
The capital city of Hyderabad also received moderate showers as a result of these weather systems.
Meteorologists at Skymet have predicted isolated rain and thundershowers in East Vidarbha such as Gondia, Chandrapur, Wardha, Washim, etc for another 24 hours. Some pockets of Telangana might also witness rain and thundershowers today.
After 24 hours, the weather activities would subside because the weather systems which were responsible for these rains might turn insignificant.
Post this episode, the temperatures (which were following a declining trend until now) might see an increase.
Another such spell of rain and thundershowers is expected in East Vidarbha and Telangana by evening or night of March 5. This spell of rain might continue until the morning of March 7. During this span, there are chances of isolated hailstorm activities in a few pockets of Vidarbha.
Meanwhile, the coastal parts of Maharashtra may observe dry and warm weather. Due to the incursion of northwesterly moist winds, the humidity will increase in the coastal areas. The capital city of Mumbai may experience dry and warm weather with high humidity levels.
