After experiencing heavy rainfall activities, the intensity has gone down significantly in Andhra Pradesh. Only light rains have been recorded in Coastal Andhra Pradesh with one or two moderate spells as observed over Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Similarly, the rainfall activities have reduced over Telangana and the capital city of Hyderabad has received very light rain in a span 24 hours.
According to Skymet Weather, the influence of both the weather systems that is, the Low-Pressure Area over the Odisha Coast (now Cyclonic Circulation) as well as Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Kyarr has reduced. As a result, we do not expect much increase in the rainfall activities over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh now.
However, light rains with one or two moderate spells would continue in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and Telangana until tomorrow. Thereafter, rains would become scattered and light over the states and gradually the weather would become dry.
The temperatures would also start rising as a result of clear skies and dry weather conditions.
Further, no significant rainfall activity is likely over Telangana including the capital city of Hyderabad during the remaining days of October. A similar condition is likely in parts of Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema as well.
Northeast Monsoon so far has been good for the state of Andhra Pradesh in terms of rainfall activities. The state has remained under the influence of various weather systems such as Cyclonic Circulation, Low-Pressure area, Depression or Cyclonic Storm until now.
