Cyclone Fani is spreading its devastating colors over most parts of South India. This statement could be supported with the fact that the Indian Air Force (IAF) and BrahMos Aerospace were left with no option but to postpone the testfire of the air-launched version of supersonic cruise missile from a Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft, that they have been planning since a very long time.

The testing was planned this week in South India. The agenda of the testing was to develop a homegrown system of weapons for the force, so as to carry out more air strikes like Balakot one.
According to some government sources, “The testing has been put on hold, in wake of Very Severe Cyclone Fani. However, once the conditions improve, we will carry out the testfire soon”.
The Cyclonic Storm Fani, that has now become very severe, was located at 880 km of southeast of Chennai on Monday. This system is moving in northwest directions and most probably will change its path Wednesday onward.
